Turning 40 allows for a little celebration and some trans joy as an act of resistance. With recent historical changes in legislation that have made it far easier to change gender markers on birth certificates in NSW, there are lot of wins to celebrate in the trans and gender diverse community, which is now more important than ever.

Join us as we reflect on the journey so far, celebrate together and hear from leaders in the community. For those of you who are planning to change your gender marker through the NSW registry, we will also be running a free drop in Justice of the Peace service. Come and get your statutory declarations signed by affirming Justices of the Peace or just come in for morning tea.

Together, we can honour our wins, recharge in community, bolster our resilience and get ready for what’s next.
